題名:虛榮特性為家庭溝通結構與物質主義關係中介機制之研究:以臺灣大學女生為例

在當前消費文化充斥社會環境裡,物質主義逐漸成為主流價值,甚且內化成為青少年目標,使得青少年投入於物質購買和擁有。當青少年物質主義認知強烈時,勢必引發其強迫性購買意願,以滿足其成功及快樂需求。平實而論,虛榮特性、物質主義雖然已蔓延至我國社會,但仍只受到少數學界的重視。本研究透過結構化模式分析,籍以了解出身不同的家庭溝通結構的青少女,對於外表觀感及成就觀感虛榮特性的認知,以及其對物質主義的影響和因果關係。研究結果發現,來自社會取向家庭溝通結構之青少女,較易具備外表觀感的虛榮特性。而具外表觀感特性青少女,比較容易養成財物成功及獲取快樂之物質主義特性,同時證實外表觀成為社會取向家庭溝通結構和物質主義的中介變數。概念取向家庭溝通結構出身青少女,除較易具備成就觀感特性,也易具備物質主義的獲取中心特性。
The consumer culture had spread into Taiwan's society recently and the materialism was also internalized to be main value among adolescents which made them put in the world of material possession. The purpose of this research was to justify the causal relationships among family communication structure, vanity trait and materialism. We adopted the method of structural equation model analysis to verify the hypotheses we proposed. The major findings are: the social orientation has significant effects on physical concern vanity; the concept orientation has significant effects on achievement vanity. The physical vanity exerts influence on success and happiness of material possession, while the achievement vanity has significant effects on centrality of material possession.
