本研究的目的在了解大學生就讀年級、性別因素、焦慮、內外控信念與其職業取向及職業成熟的關係。經抽取280名大學生為對象，進行實際的調查與分析後發現：第一，大學生的職業評估、自我評估、對職業的自我投入、對未來職業的看法、職業取向總分和職業成熟與其就讀年級、性別有密切關係，以男生和四年級學生在各變項的反應較優；第二，大學生的職業評估與其焦慮、內外控信念具有密切關係，其關係呈交互作用；第三，大學生的自我評估、對職業之自我投入、對未來職業之看法與其焦慮、內外控信念具有密切關係，以低焦慮學生和內控學生較優；第四，大學生的職業取向總分與其焦慮、內外控信念具有密切關係，其關係呈交互作用；第五，大學生的職業成熟與其內外控信念具有密切關係，內控者的職業成熟優於外控者。基於此種發現，本研究提出加強推展大學職業輔導工作，積極編製職業發展有關的評量工具，以及加強職業取向和職業成熟有關問題之研究等建議，藉供教育與輔導工作人員的參考。
A study of career orientation / career maturity and the effects on them of grade, sex, anxiety level, and locus of control was undertaken on a sample of 280 college male and female students. The analysis of data revealed that the students' scores on Career Orientation Inventory were significantly related to their grade, sex, anxiety level, and locus of control. It was also found that the studeuts' scores on Career Maturity Inventory were correlated significantly with grade, sex, and locus of control. Results are discussed in terms of their implications for career guidance in the educational setting.
