     本研究之主要目的在於進行電腦專業工作者與修習電腦課程大學生的人格特質與認知式態的研究。研究對象是以臺北康大資訊公司的電腦專業人員,臺南縣市從事國中、小學教育工作者及臺南師範學院修習資訊科學課程的學生,共136人,分別施以高登人格量表乙種。此外再自研究對象中隨機自其中抽取每天使用電腦超過四小時以上者為深入訪談對象,進行個別的訪談。 本研究所得之研究發現為: (一)使用電腦時間較長的人,具有較謹慎的人格特質也較傾向於具有場地獨立的認知式態。 (二)電腦專業人員較非電腦專業人員具有謹慎與獨創性思考的特質,且較傾向於場地獨立。 (三)修習電腦課程學生的學期成績與人格特質之間只有在精力一項上達顯著相關,在電腦課程中表現較好的學生,較傾向於場地獨立。 (四)電腦課程修習成績較佳的大學生與專業電腦人員的人格特質不論是在謹慎、獨創性思考、人際關係或精力等方面,均沒有顯著的差 異存在。但是電腦專業人員較修習電腦課成績較佳的學生具有場地獨立的傾向。 (五)自訪談的結果中發現,長期使用電腦會使人有成就感,較有自信,此外對於事物的思考較仔細、謹慎,通常會先規劃、考慮可行協調性佳、攻擊性小及誠實性高等的特徵。
     The Purpose of this study is to conduct a research about the personality and cognitive style of both professional computer workers and the university students enrolled in computer course. The total number of research subjects is 136, included professional computer workers, school teachers and the university students who enrolled in computer course. The instrument used for this study is the Gordon Personal Inventory (GPI). Finally selected 5 person from the subjects who use computer more than 4 hours every day as interview subjects to proceed a individual interview. The results of this study are as follwing: 1. The more time spent in using of computer, the more tend to be cautiousness personality and more field-independent. 2. Professional computer worker possess more of original thinking, of cautiousness personality and of field-independent traits than non-professional computer workers. 3. There is a significant correlation lie between the students' term performance and personality. 4. There is no significant difference between the good students in computer course and the professional computer workers. But professional computer workers tend to be more field-independent. 5. From the results of the interview, the personal who use computer for a longer time to be more confident, considerate and more cautiousness.
