　　　　　早期療育是針對已有發展遲緩或可能發展遲緩的兒童及其家庭提供專業整合性的 服務，以促進兒童及其家庭達到最理想的健康狀態。由於我國發展遲緩兒童早期療育的工作 方才在起步階段，護理人員積極參與早期療育的工作乃刻不容緩之事。護理人員在早期療育 工作上必須擔任個案管理的角色。建議將發展遲緩及早期療育的相關知識納入護理養成教育 及在職教育中，護理人員要熟悉社區資源、創造社會資源，協助發展遲緩兒童及其家庭減少 在社區生活的障礙。
