本研究旨在暸解台灣地區接受早期療育服務之兒童與家庭現況以及早期療育服務對家庭主要照顧者之影響。研究以問卷調查法為研究方法,透過自編之問卷,以過去三年接受早期療育服務之284位發展遲緩兒童之主要照顧者為對象進行調查研究。研究結果發現九成以上之家長認為接受早期療育服務對其在紓解壓力與生活品質之提升上非常有幫助,主動接受服務與否與家庭收入二項因素會影響主要照顧者接受早期療育服務之感受。 因此,本研究依研究結果建議,政府單位應審慎規劃「身心障礙」與「發展遲緩」之服務,早療經費之編列宜彈性並與需求結合,此外,早期療育服務應以「家庭」為焦點,任何服務方案之設計應兼顧「主要照顧者」以及「兒童發展」之需求,並與其他方案銜接整合,落實家庭全方位服務。
The purpose of this study is to understand the status quo of early intervention in Taiwan, and the effects of the intervention especially for care-givers. Data was collected by using questionnaire including 284 families. The study found that more than 90% care-givers think the service can smooth the pressure for them and raise the quality of life. Motivation and family income are two factors that affect the feelings about receiving services of care-givers. According to the above findings, the researcher made some suggestions: Developing the services for “children with disabilities” and “children with developmental dalays” should be considered carefully by the goverment. It is important to provide more funds for early intervention and meet the needs for the families with children with developmental delays. All services in early intervention should consider the needs of both ”care-givers” and “children”. The early intervention services should connect with other services for families.
