題名:「她是我一生的課題」:一位自閉症青年母親的養育經驗

     本個案研究主要目的在探討一位元母親在得知孩子為自閉症後,十多年來教育的心路歷程,採取質性研究的心路歷程,採取質性研究的方式,以深度訪談、文件蒐集等法來蒐集資料,並將全部訪談過程轉錄為逐字稿。資料的分析採取「持續比較法」,由逐字稿料及相關文件中歸納出受訪者的心路歷程。 本研究的發現如下: (1)教養過程是連續的壓力與調適,對母親而言,在自閉兒教養過程中「壓力」與「調適」是一個不間斷的往環過程,因此並沒有所謂調適「成功」的時候。 (2)夫妻齊心齊力是自閉兒教養順利的關鍵,在教養過程先生全力的?持及分憂解勞,使受訪者在教養過程中勇往直前充滿自信,也使孩子的發展能較順利。 (3)母親的信念深深影響其障礙兒的教養,積極、正向的態度,對母親及障礙兒都有正面的幫助。 (4)適時的尋求社會資源的協助確有助於障礙兒的教養。 (5)時間亦為壓力調適的良方,並非每一種壓力都能立即獲得調適,特別是人際間的壓力,通常需要時間來調適。 (6)壓力是調適並不足以涵蓋障礙兒教養的全貌,在漫長的教養歷程中,母親也會因自閉兒的教養而產生喜樂與欣慰。 本文闡述一位自閉症者母親十多年的自閉兒教養經驗,希望能藉由經驗的分享,讓家有障礙兒的母親早日走出傷痛,更希望藉由此文喚起社會對障礙者母親及其家庭的關注。
     The main purpose of the case study is to explore the mother's raising process for over ten years after knowing her child being an autism. This study adopts the way of qualitative research that uses extensive interviews, collection of documents to gather data and turns all the interview process into interview transcripts. The analysis of the data adopts "constant comparison method". We can induct the interviewee's mind process through the data of the interview transcripts and related documents. We find the following points from the study: (1)For the mother, there is no real adjustable success during raising process. On the contrary, they encounter constant pressure and adjustment in the raising process. (2)The key of the raising process, the husband's mighty support and the share of sorrows and labors make the interviewee (wife) full of confidence and efforts during the raising process. So does the smooth development of the child. (3)The mother's faith has great influence on the handicapped's raising or active and positive attitude. So it is positively helpful to the mother and the handicapped. (4)Seeking for social resources timely be surely helpful to the raising of the handicapped. (5)Time is a good way for the pressure adaptation. Not every pressure adapted immediately, especially the pressure of human-relationship. It needs time to be adapted as usual. (6)Pressure and adjustment can not cover the complete picture. In the long-range raising process, the mother also enjoys the delight and consolation. This article tells us the story of an autism's mother's raising experience for over ten years in the hope of the share of experience so that the mother of the handicapped would earlier step out of sorrows. Hopefully, this article can wake up society to pay attention to the mothers of the handicapped and their family.
