本文主要探討台灣手語造詞策略和句法的關聯，以聽障生的華語教學為對象，討論台灣手語和華語的語言類型差異，希望能提供以聽障生為對象的華語教師教學課程設計的參考。本文主要以四種造詞策略（實體直指、動作模擬、外形描繪、形體取代）來探討台灣手語的造詞策略及與句法方面的關聯。本文指出台灣手語藉由不同造詞詞策略所形成的詞彙及其相關的句法結構，以探討不同種類的詞彙在所有格結構、名詞+修飾語結構及分類詞等結構中的表現有何不同。
