資優生共同的情意特質包含高度的內控信念、敏感、過度激動與完美主義,此共同特質爲資優生帶來正反兩面的影響,高度內控信念使資優生展現較高的好奇心、願意接受挑戰,保持工作專注性,致力追求卓越,然而當環境不允許資優生展現控制力時,便會產生習得無助,因而阻礙了動機、學習和情緒;敏感與過度激動促進個人潛能的發展,卻亦可能引起資優生的焦慮、沮喪與人際問題;完美主義可引導資優生設定高標準、堅持目標與追求卓越卻也可能侷限個人發展、產生負向情緒和行爲、阻礙人際關係。本文藉由綜合相關文獻深入探討影響資優生情意特質正反影響的關鍵因素,並據此提出具體策略以提供資優教育教師輔導資優生情意之參考。
