This report is to discuss the sentence-final “V-teoku” in discourse. From the perspectives of structures and meanings of “V-teoku”-related sentences, the researcher proposes that the sentence patterns can be divided into four types and six categories, for example, “Effect Type”, “Cause Type” (Cause Type 1 and Cause Type 2), “Explanation Type” (Explanation Type 1 and Explanation Type 2), and “End Type.” In sentences with “V-teoku”, strong preparation is found in Effect Type, Cause Type 1, and Explanation Type 1, while weak preparation is identified in Cause Type 2, End Type, and Explanation Type 2.
