The aim of this study was to investigate the differences among the health examination, lifestyles, and recreation sports participation of the faculties in technology universities. Furthermore, this study would analyze the correlation between theses three variables and perceived health status. In this study, 433 employees were selected by the convenience sampling from technology universities of central Taiwan, and the survey questionnaire was used to collect essential information. The grand total provided 433 questionnaires, recycling effective 425 questionnaires, and the effective questionnaire recycling a rate 98.15%. The questionnaire information had confirmed after statistical analysis, obtained the following results: 1. The majority faculties have the concept of the healthy diet and keep dietary habits in their daily lives, but most of all overworked and suffered from sleeping disorders. 2. The employees with abnormal detection of health examination owned better lifestyles and had more recreation sports participation. In conclusion, most faculties have a symptom of chronic diseases, in which, the patient with chronic who performed better lifestyles and recreation sports participation. In addition, the male employees with higher attendance in recreation sports, the better perceived health status they had. However, the female have no this phenomenon. According to the results of this study, there was a suggestion for those faculties who perceived their health status was “common” or “no good”, and not discovered diseases yet. They could enhance intensity when doing recreation sports and foster a habit for good lifestyles to improve their own perceived health status and self-achievement.
