“Recently, the economics of arts and culture has gradually grown to become a recognized and valued field; it now attracts more attention from researchers than it did two decades ago”, says David Throsby in the preface of his book Economics and Culture. The theoretical foundation of Taiwan’s cultural creative industry is almost identical to David Throsby’s Economics and Culture. Through the government’s intentional enhancement of the cultural creative industry and Cross-Strait direct flights, tourism business opportunities focusing on the theme of culture have been generated; by selecting the Cultural Tourism in Tainan City, Lugang and Wanhua: Environmental Readiness Satisfaction Study as the main theme of study, The research motive is: The need to ascertain the current status of readiness concerning the various aspects of cultural tourism in the three regions. The research objective is: Collate and induce items related to cultural tourism environmental readiness in Tainan City, Lugang and Wanhua; through research method such as questionnaire survey, the degree of satisfaction of residents, experts and scholars in the three regions pertaining to the current environmental readiness is determined. The study reveals that there are significant differences in the interviewees’ perceptions towards marketing, transportation, architectural design, accommodation management, culture and history guided tours and cultural characteristics in Tainan City, Lugang and Wanhua.
