Borrowing the idea of “wealth spectrum”, this paper proposed the concept of “ international mobility spectrum” arguing that governments, societal organizations and individuals should follow the correct ideas and take into account of the combination of purposes, capacities, directions, and ways of international movement when they move internationally. There were three major parts to this paper. First, the paper presented the status quo and shortcomings of the effort of improving students’ international mobility. Second, utilizing the idea of the combination of purposes, capacities, directions, and ways of international movement, this paper outlined the concept of international mobility and provided some examples. Finally, the author provided several suggestions to help the effort of enhancing students’ international mobility.
