There are phenomena of "useless and unable to retain " among college students’ grass-root employment at present, because they could not integrate themselves into or adapt themselves to their work. Based on the questionnaire survey data of the Grass-roots employment college students, the article quantitatively discusses their current working status and confidence in their future grassroots work. Besides, the paper mainly analyzes the influence of human capital and social capital on them. The results are shown below:Firstly, only the factors of work experience and student cadre in human capital have a significant influence on their current status and future confidence, while social capital makes a little influence. Secondly, work experience has different effects and influence ways on the current status and future confidence with the factors like career motivation, Grass-roots awareness, job involvement.According to the research result, the article proposes to guide and set up the concept of positive grass-root employment, so that college students can pay attention to their personal abilities,which will help them to realize the purpose of "well-used and retain" in grassroots work.
