舞蹈治療是一項古老的藝術，新的專業，具有表達、溝通與自我建構的特性。本文以北投八一八醫院一日問病房，作為主要場地，目的嘗試以身體表達的觀點，從身體的節奏流動，創意表達，身體意象，此三項來談舞蹈治療與自我建構的關係。舞蹈治療以創造性方式引導身體肌肉知覺，觸覺等感官開?內在的心靈與自我連結。藝術之最可貴處為心靈的活動，自發性、創造性的表達是一扇通向內在自我的窗戶，經由舞蹈讓我們瞭解精神患者他們內在世界。

　　　　　Dance therapy is an ancient art, yet a new profession, which is endowed with features of expression, communication and self-construction. This paper utilized 818 Psychiatric Hospital as the major venue to illustration, the relationship between dance therapy and self construction. The purpose of dance therapy is trying discussion body and mind from the viewpoints of physical movement, creative expression, and body images. Dance therapy use creative manners to evoke consciousness of the body, using sensual parts in order to open up the connection between the body and the mind. The most precious of art is the care of the soul. Spontaneous and creative expression are the window that leads to the self, It is through dance that we come to realize the inner world of the patients.
