This article proceeds From the viewpoint of religious dialogue. Initially, I Would like to establish the contents of what consititutes ethics in a dialogue, in order to open up into the larger realm of dialogue between reason and blief, between religion and society, between religion and philosophy, especially between different religions. This would include the disparities, possible dialogue and interaction between religions and various sects within them. By doing this, we hope would enable us to build a concern and understanding of other religions (taking Buddhism as an example) in order to arrive at a common topic for dialogue. This dialogue could take place between monk and nuns and lay folk, between monks and nuns themselves, between Bodhisattva and Arhat, between those who believe in the worldliness and the other wordliness for example. Hopefully such dialogue could contribute to the elucidation of what would constitute an ethical dialogue between religions or sects within as well as contribute to a more clear definition of what constitutes religion and philosophy Per Se.
