Frederic Chopin lived 39 years in the world. In his short time, he composed many works for piano. I view Chopin's works as a expression of a language . I call it music language. One of the characters in Chopin's music language is full of enthusiasm and dramatic effects. Most scholars focus on analyzing the structure of the composition when they discuss Chopin's works. However, the Finnish scholar Eero Tarasti propose a different point to explain Chopin's works. Tarasti's method is based on Algirdas Julien Greimas's theory of Narratologie. I attempt to take Tarasti's method discussing the narrativity in Chopin's piano works and my thesis focuses on discussing the relation between the structure and system of the music language. I think the method can build a strict scientific mode in methodology
