本研究目的在了解全國有性行爲之青少年使用保險套的現況，運用跨理論模式分析青少年保險套使用情形。以全國高中職級大專院校的學生族群爲母群體，共調查10,200位，得有效問卷9,328份，選取有性交者爲分析對象，共爲1,132位。調查結果：台灣地區青少年有性行爲比率爲12.14%，青少年使用保險套理由以避孕占最多。青少年使用保險套在跨理論模式的改變階段，其未思考階段占24.82%，沉思階段占15.11%，準備階段占11.22%，行動階段占22.53%，維持階段占26.33%，實際使用保險套行爲階段比率不到五成，並且使用保險套的決定權衡，亦即利益及代價上的考量會影響一個人的使用保險套行爲。
The purpose of the research is to study the condom using among the adolescents in Taiwan who have had sexual intercourse and to analyze it based on the trans-theoretical model. The subjects were from high schools, colleges and universities of technology in Taiwan totally 10, 200. Out of them there were 9,328 valid subjects. Among them 1, 132 who have had sexual intercourse were selected as the subjects to analysis. The results of the survey: 12.14% of adolescents have had sex experience in Taiwan. The reason for most adolescents to use condom is contraception. By the concepts of stage-changing of the transtheoretical model, among adolescents' condom-using 24.82% are in the pre-contemplation stage, 15.11% in contemplation, 11.22% in preparation, 22.53% in action and 26.33% in maintenance. Only less then 50% are using condoms in practice. According to this research, the decisional balance will impact on the condom using behaviors.
