題名:資源基礎觀點下之資源拼湊與價值創造:以臺灣翅帆開發創新產品為例

新產品開發(New product development, NPD),是一個資源組合的過程(Rumelt, 1984; Barney, 1991)。過去從設計角度探討的相關研究中,較為重視市場面的商品效果(Verona, 1999),強調功能、介面設計與美觀等因素(Ulrich & Eppinger, 1997),鮮少提及資源的取得以及取得成本,但此議題在創業初期更顯重要。以資源基礎觀點探討新產品開發的學者,則偏重於「資源組合效率」的提升(Iansiti & Clark, 1994),企圖加速開發流程、速度,並提高產品的品質與績效(Verona, 1999)。 不過,創新產品不僅應「推陳出新」,更強調資源重組(recombination)與新組合(new combination)的實現(Schumpeter, 1934)。但「組合」的相關論述卻過於籠統,並未觸及重組過程的「建構」內涵,也甚少探討投入組合的單一資源,其多重應用的可能性(Baker & Nelson, 2005)。因此,本研究以人類學家Lévi-Strauss(Lévi-Strauss, 1966)提出的拼湊(bricolage)概念,探討台灣翅帆創業團隊的創新商品開發案例,以填補資源基礎觀點的不足。
