In 1960's, the concept of the ecomuseum was invented, which served as a tool for the population of a locality, and in which, the inhabitants had a role to play. From the ecomuseum the idea of the community museum would develop. In order to increase the sustainable development of the community museum, this paper added the elements of ecotourism development to increased economic benefits of locality and to prevent the negative tourism impacts. This article took Morisaka as a case study to state the processing of shaping community tourism by the concept of the modified community museum.
