本研究之目的是在探討心肺適能與認知功能對機構住民之影響，於研究方法上，以高雄地區養護機構之五十歲以上為對象，共26名；採調查方式進行，經描述性統計分析結果發現，受試者行走前安靜心跳數、6分鐘行走完後心跳數、6分鐘行走完後疲勞分數、6分鐘行走總長、行走完2分鐘後心跳數、視覺空間執行、命名、專注力、語言流暢、抽象概念、延遲記憶、定向感、認知評估總分、巴氏量表總分、工具性生活量表總分、憂鬱量表總分皆偏低。根據研究結果，本研究建議養護機構依不同住民能力及興趣擬定合適之運動認知學習方案，以提升住民運動學習動機與建立運動學習模式，藉由學習促進身心健康，最終獲得終身運動學習的益處。

The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of cardiorespiratory fitness and cognitive function on the residents involved in the Institution. Subjects for the study were selected from the residents over 50 years in conservation organizations in Kaohsiung. a total of 26; adopt investigation approaches, Descriptive statistical analysis. The results found that the low scores of subjects in the Pre-Exercise Heart Rat, End Exercise Heart Rate, 2 Minutes after Heart Rate, walking fatigue scores, Walking distance, visuospatial, naming, attention, language, abstraction, delayed recall, orientation, Montreal Cognitive Assessment, Barthel Index, Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, and Geriatric depression scale. Based on the findings, the study recommends that conservation organizations can develop the exercise cognitive learning programs for the residents depending on their capacity and interests in order to enhance their exercise learning motivation and to establish their exercise learning mode. By the learning of physical and mental health promotion, the residents would finally obtain the benefits of lifelong exercise learning.
