The study aims to explore variation among secondary school tennis players in psychological skills and mental toughness in different gender, years of play and level of technique. The research analyses questionnaires with the top eight winners in individual events and in team events including boys and girls of secondary school in The 2015 National High School Athletic Games as the object. According to the Psychological Skill Tables and the Trait Sport Mental Toughness Inventory with the valid dataset of 229 samples(including 123 male and 106 female players), questionnaires processed with descriptive statistics, independent-sample T test and one-way analysis of variance to analyze the variation among players in psychological skills and mental toughness in different gender, years of play and level of technique. The result indicates that there are obvious differences in multiple aspects, which worth coaches' and counselors' attention.
