　　　　　失業補償政策主要分為失業保險、失業救助、資遣費、工作福利(或國內所稱的失業輔助或以工代賑)等類型，很具價值基礎、財源基礎、政府角色介入方式、社會適當性或個人公平性勺時間價值、對社會或經濟之影響與意義等，各有其不同的特性。決策者於瞭解該等特性後，依其國家或地區就業市場情況，可採取不同的政策規劃方向。
　　　　　Unemployment compensation policy typology was mainly divided into the following types: unemployment insurance, unemployment relief, redundancy payment, workfare (or unemployment assisstance). Based on value orientation, source of fund, role of state, social adequacy or individual equity, timing, social or economic impact, unemployment compensation policy typology could meet different policy goals. As decision-makers recogonize these characters, they could adopt alternative policy orientation in accordance with their national labor market conditions.
