　　　　　作為一個主流意識形態，科學新聞迴避了多數科學技術活動，實乃運行於支配之社會關係的事實。另一方面，對於科技的不信任乃至於焦慮情緒，卻又似乎廣泛存在於社會大眾的心理圖譜。在科技意識形態與科技不信任的落差之間，顯示或許存在某種空間。值得我們探討是否可能在其間找到另類的科學報導。本文最後以不臺灣的報紙對於超導超級對撞器的報導，檢視科學家與科技記者的互動關係。
　　　　　While science news conceals the dominated relationship that harbors scientific activities and therefore is an ideology, this paper collects evidences that suggest a popular anxiety and distrust of science exists nonetheless. In-between this discrepancy of science images, how alternative representations of science might be conceived is discussed. Taking how SSC news have been covered in the national press as one example, the author concludes with an examination of the interplays between scientists and science reporters.
