蘇洲派戲曲家是明末清初崛起於劇壇的一個作家群，他們人數眾多，聲勢極為盛 大，他們的作品（極大部分是傳奇）數量極為驚人，並且存世數、上演率也極為驚人。可以 說，在此前和此後，能夠與之媲美的作家群，在戲曲史上還找不出第二個。本文謹對蘇州派 戲曲家薛旦、張大復及李玉等三人的若干曲目，進行考辨。

　　　　　The Soochow School of opera was centered around a rather large group of individuals who lived at the end of the Ming and early Ch'ing and worked in the opera field. They not only were famous and popular at the time, but they wrote operas (mostly sagas) in great numbers. Many of their works survive today and are still being performed. In fact, in the history of opera, none surpassed this group either before of after them. The present article proceeds to examine only some of the prodigious works of the Soochow School of opera.
