近年來，全球經濟區塊化蔚為風潮，凸顯區域經濟整合及國際經濟高度互賴的趨勢，因此，參與經濟合作已成為各國積極推動的目標。1990年代起，東亞區域內經貿融合程度日益緊密，各國積極參與經濟合作來消弭經貿障礙及增進經貿實惠，不但有助於強化國際競爭力，擁有全球最具規模的製造及消費市場，成為世界三大經貿區域之一。兩岸經貿融合程度日益加深，呈現相互依賴的關係，尤其是在加入WTO後，兩岸經貿正常化成為各界關注的焦點。面對全球經濟區塊化潮流，兩岸經濟整合的議題已成為社會各界熱切關注的焦點，兩岸經貿關係朝向合作將有助於東亞區域經濟整合進展，甚至牽動全球經貿版圖之消長，未來形勢發展是國際社會熱切關注的焦點，此乃本文探討之重點。

From 1990’s, global regional economic development has become a current. This trend of regional economic development manifests that the economic integration deepens gradually, and the degree of the interdependence of the international economy is raised. In recent years, the economics and trade relation has become much closer between the Cross-straits. The development of economic integration of Cross-straits has already become the focus of the ardent concern of the social public. This article will start from the introduction and the analysis of the historical scenario and theories to investigate the developing process of EU and the design of integrated institution of EU, and to examine the feasible model of strengthening the integration of economics and trade of Cross-straits.
