The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the badminton sport players' injuries status. The surveyed subjects were the participants of 2007 College Faculty and Staff Championship. There were 325 questionnaires issued, 297 questionnaires collected, return rate 91.39%. Valid questionnaires were 278 by eliminating invalid questionnaires, valid rate 93.6%. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze subjects' background, injury conditions, and medical treatment decision. The results may use as a reference for badminton sport players to avoid sport injuries and seek the medical treatment decision. Based on the survey results, the following conclusions were made. First, most of injuries were happened in practice (60.43%). Minor injuries were ignored in the beginning, but continuous activities made the severe injuries. Second, the most injury types were sprain (50.54%) and strain (41.58%) with high repeatability. Third, foot injuries (88.16%) were the highest portion. It's related sport function 1 retard along ages and badminton players relying foot swift movement. Forth, seeking medical treatment have similar rate between western medical care (44.60%) and Chinese medical care (41.01%). The major reason came from subjects' experience (63.31%), it's an alternative based on the treatment effect (64.03%). Based on the above conclusion, the results may provide as a reference for preventing sport injuries and reducing sport injuries in badminton players.
