本文試圖由王盛弘散文中的鄉土、城市與性／別描寫，探討空間與記憶對於王盛弘創作的影響。作為臺灣本土的內部移民，由於因著島內遷徙而產生的雙鄉意識、被異性戀拒斥／疏離的同志身份，以及漫遊世界諸國的經歷，王盛弘用一種業餘知識份子的眼光探勘記憶的岩層與情欲的版圖，在自我解構與重構的過程中，王盛弘作品中重層化鄉土的色彩異發鮮明，而獨樹一幟的物哀美學亦在其中得以展顏。
1n this paper, I'd like to analyze the influences of space and memory on Wang, Sheng-hong's essays through the descriptions of native soils, cities and sex/gender in his works. As an inner immigrant in Taiwan, Wang surveyed the stratums of memory as well as the territories of lust by all amateur intellectual's insight from the experiences of migration and traveled in many countries, in addition, the identity of homosexual. In the process of self-deconstruction and self-reconstruction, Wang's stratification of native soils was more and more vivid and his special mono no aware (もののぁはゎ) aesthetics could be shown in his works.
