隨著科技的進步以及經濟環境的變化,知識管理 (Knowledge Management) 成為企業提昇競爭力的關鍵。國際觀光旅館業亦不例外,在此瞬息萬變的競爭環境中如何選擇做對的事並且把事有效率的完成,所需要的關鍵資訊經常是不假外求的就存在於旅館業員工腦中,或是組織過去所累積的檔案中,於是如何能夠有效搜集、傳遞與管理知識,並運用組織知識來協助員工更有效的工作、創新和解決問題,啟發員工在工作的循環中學習知識的吸取、消化、加值與貢獻,就如同一具強力引擎運轉不絕,源源不斷產生巨大的能量,成為旅館業組織不斷向上躍升的原動力,更是旅館業是否能生存與成長的重點。因此本研究初始透過文獻探討知識與知識管理之意涵,進而分析知識管理導入旅館組織的步驟,並提出知識管理導入旅館業所採取之組識策略,提供知識管理導入國際觀光旅館業組織之參考。
As the technology advanced and the environment of economy changed, knowledge management has played a critical role in the industry to improve their competitive ability. International hotel industry is also the same. The information regarding how to choose the right things to do and do the things right in this changeable and competitive environment is always kept in employees' minds or files accumulated since past years. Therefor, how to collect, pass and manage the knowledge; how to assist employees to work, innovate and solve problem with the existing knowledge more efficiently; and, to teach employees to learn and absorb the knowledge to make more contributions in the working cycle have become a great energy to make hotel industry keep on moving forward. Those are also the main factors affecting the existence and growth of the industry. This study begins with discussing the definition of knowledge and knowledge management by literature. Furthermore, it analyzes the steps to guide the knowledge management into hotel industry. Finally, it presents the strategies to guide the knowledge management into hotel industry for their reference.
