The film involved courses is an innovative curriculum for elderly learning. The purpose of this study is to explore the curriculum participation of learning motivation and the meanings among older adult learners. Focus group interview were used with 12 older adult learners of movie appreciation. The research findings are showing as the following. Firstly, it is simple for participants' learning motivation, and it it's prone to have no specific reasons for senior participants of this study. For example, the learning motivation may be including others' introduction, continuation of the previous interest, to satisfy the dreams of childhood, and the consideration of living-related arrangements. Secondly, senior learners started to flection the meanings on the issues of health, learning, family and elderly living arrangement during the learning process of the movie appreciation curriculum.
