　　　　　本研究以1990年「臺灣地區時間運用調查」中的全時受僱者樣本為對象，探討他 們的時間配置特色。時間類別區分為生活必要時間、通勤時間、工作時間、家務勞動時間和 休閒時間五種，受訪者的特徵考量年齡、性別、教育程度、婚姻別、地區別、行業別、職業 別、從業身分，以及戶內 65 歲以上人口數等項。採行的方法包括計算樣本特徵的五類時間 平均值，以及以直線迴歸估計樣本特徵對五類時間長短的影響狀況。主要發現如下：(1) 受 僱者五類時間的均值告知， (1990 年 ) 週六工作的情形仍屬普遍，其工時且高於週一至週 五者；週日的家務勞動時間和休閒時間都比週一至週六為長。(2) 受僱者的時間配置會因個 人特徵而顯著不同。迴歸分析隱示，年齡會影響生活必要時間 (男＞女，未婚＞已婚 )、工 時 (男＜女， 未婚＜已婚 )、家庭勞動時間 (男＜女，未婚＜已婚 ) 和休閒時間 (男＞女 ，未婚＞已婚 )， 教育程度會影響通勤時間 (正向 ) 和休閒時間 (負向 )，地區別會影響 所有五類時間 (如臺北市的工時最短，通勤時間和休閒時間最長 )，行職業別會影響工時和 休閒時間， 從業者身分別會影響 (受政府僱用者＜受私人僱用者 ) 和家庭勞動時間 (受政 府僱用者＞受私人僱用者 )，而戶內 65 歲以上人口數會影響工時 (負向 )、家庭勞動時間 (正向 ) 和休閒時間 (正向 )。
