　　　　　我們正處於一個資訊爆炸的時代，日常生活中周遭的媒體不時的向我們傳達訊息。 因此，老師要將大量的資訊，尤其是具有文化背景差異的資訊，在有限的時間與特定的空間 內，客觀且正確的傳播給學生，勢必要懂的借助適當的媒體及方法才能做到。媒體的運用已 不是傳統觀念中的輔助角色，配合適當的教學設計，教學媒體使教學與學習活動更具體化。 學生可直接從視覺、聽覺及各種學習經驗的過程與方法中達成學習的目的。 本研究報告主要分為三部份，第一部份，介紹教學媒體的涵義、分類、選擇及其教學效 果。第二部份，說明系統化的媒體運用──ASSURE教學設計在西語國家文化史課程的實 際應用。最後，試述教學媒體與教學科技未來可能發展的趨勢及淡江大學教學科技發展的現 況與前景。
　　　　　This paper contains three parts. The first part introduces the definition, the classification, and the selection of instructional media, and its results in teaching. The second part explains the application of a systematic instructional design—the instrucional design ASSURE—in the teaching of Hispanic culture. Finally, the present day situation of instructional technology, the trends it will follow and its future development at Tamkang University will be commented on.
