Concerning the moderating effect of “work value”, this study results showed that manufacturing, HRM, R&D, and Financing, these four business functional attributes as its context are stronger influences than individual “work value” to their workplace friendships. If “work value” included, Taiwan managers’ and non-managers’ workplace friendships are better than those of China in all five different business functional attributes.
