　　　　　檢視博物館觀眾群不難發現，儘管博物館聲稱服務對象為全體民眾，但身心障礙觀眾卻總是被漠視。傳統上，博物館習以「視」作為傳遞知識主要的介質，使得視障者在博物館的資源分配上，難享與明眼人同樣平等的權利，形成視障者參觀博物館時難以克服之障礙。 筆者僅以臺博館辦理之教育活動「用心看世界，大甲溪生態之旅」為範圍，探討該活動與視障兒童教育之結合，並對自然史博物館在視障兒童教育工作可以扮演的角色及其發揮的功能作一剖視，以了解其教育意義並提供改善活動缺失之意見。
