本研究的任務，是對高高屏地區民眾參與展演藝術活動的現況與設施需求，做一分析。本研究結果顯示，高高屏地區約有半數以上民眾，一年之內，完全沒有參加過任何展示表演藝術活動，而展演藝術學習課之民眾參與率，則僅約一成。民眾對展示藝術活動之參與意願，高於表演藝術活動，而對展演藝術學習課程之參與意願，則明顯低於前兩者。本研究認為民眾屬性、活動對率及參與意願問，具有顯著關聯性。

The present study undertook an analysis of citizen attendance and required facilities of art exhibitions and performances in Kaohsiung and Pingtung area, Taiwan. the survey showed that nearly 50% of the respondents did not attend any art exhibitions or performing arts events this last year. It also showed that there was only 10% of the people greater than performing arts events. It further showed that the respondents had less interest in art classes. Finally, the correlation between respondents’ characteristics, attendance and participation was significant.
