Chang Yu Niang (張玉娘) could bear comparison with Li Ching Chao (李清照) or Chu Shu Chen (朱淑真) among the women poetesses in Song Dynasty. As “Lan-Hsueh-Chi” (蘭雪集), the writings of Chang Yu Niang (張玉娘), did not be published far and wide, she was not known to the public. In this paper, we study the image of Chang Yu Niang (張玉娘) in her work, “Lan-Hsueh-Chi” (蘭雪集), from the standpoints of virtue, love and talent. It shows that Chang Yu Niang (張玉娘) was a perfect lady who possessed the talent and scholarship, virtue, single-hearted love and a beautiful looking. And her image was ideal for the traditional society. Besides, this ideal image was also the reason why Meng Cheng Shun (孟稱舜) wanted to print “Lan-Hsueh-Chi”(蘭雪集) and transmit her story far and wide.
