Past researches showed that workplace deviance behavior had lead very huge loss in America. It is very important to research the relationship among job characteristics, job involvement and workplace deviance behavior. Because we understood the knowledge about workplace deviance behavior just a little. Furthermore job characteristics maybe have the moderating effect on the relationship between job involvement and workplace deviance behavior. This paper aimed to investigate the moderating effect and the relationship between job involvement and workplace deviance behavior. Three hundred and seventy-six matched data were analyzed to test the research hypotheses. The result showed that job involvement was negative related to workplace deviance behavior. Also the result showed that job characteristics had the moderating effect on the relationship between job involvement and workplace deviance behavior. Finally, implications of these findings and suggestions for future research were discussed.
