The purpose of this study was to discuss the difference and relationship among traditional village preservation, tourism leisure conflict and potential tourism development. The residents in Cyonglin Village of Kinmen County were sampled for questionnaire investigation. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and correlation analysis were exercised in this study. The results indicated that gender has significant differences in "environmental behavior" of traditional village preservation, "traffic and security" of tourism leisure conflict and "environment space" of potential tourism development. Residential period has significant differences in "historical value", "environmental behavior" and "humanity value" of traditional village preservation and "industry structure" of potential tourism development. Age, occupation, and residential period have significant differences with "social recognition" of tourism leisure conflict. There is highly positive relationship between environmental behavior and industry structure, traffic and security as well as economic income, environmental behavior and environment space.
