人類免疫缺乏病毒（愛滋病）感染者自確診即開始承受諸多壓力。目前的抗病毒藥物治療已被證實能延長其存活時間，但因疾病而產生的壓力並不會降低。感染者不管是否轉變成愛滋病，其生活品質亦顯得重要。生活品質不只是生理上，同時也包含社會、心理及其他層面。研究亦證實，好的生活品質與良好的因應技巧有關。本研究探討HIV感染者之壓力來源、休閒因應及生活品質現況，並探討其差異及三者間之關係。經由醫院系統收集有效樣本共303份，研究結果顯示：壓力對於感染者的生活品質有顯著負向影響；休閒因應策略對休閒參與有正向顯著影響；休閒參與對於生活品質有顯著正向影響。研究結果亦顯示：HIV感染者之休閒因應策略與休閒參與對降低其壓力有顯著效果，對其生活品質亦有促進的成效。

People who are infected with HIV are suffered a lot of stress since they were diagnosed with HIV infection. Though HAART has been proved to prolong the survival of people who are HIV infected, the level of stress for these people is not reduced. After HIV infection becomes a chronic disease, the quality of life of these people becomes more and more important. Good quality of life is related to good coping strategies. So, present study aims to explore the quality of life, stress and the leisure coping for people infected with HIV, and to investigate the relationships and the differences of the three variables. In this study, self-administered questionnaire survey was performed, and 303 valid samples were collected through the medical system. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was applied to test the model and the findings indicated an acceptable fit in the proposed model. The results of the research concluded as follow: (1) Stress appears to influence the quality of life significantly and negatively. (2) Leisure coping strategies appears to influence leisure participation significantly and positively. (3) Leisure participation appears to influence the quality of life significantly and positively.
