The purpose of this study was aim to understand the professionalism of Judo referee through various background factors. Subjects were active Judo referee and data was collected through survey questionnaire. Total of 236 surveys were distributed and 213 returned valid. The return valid ratio was 90%. Participants consist of 182 male and 31 female, and the average age was 47.51±8.92. This research inspected six professionalism factors which include competition management, rule enforcement, passion, psychological quality, appearance, and professional education. The result indicated that higher experience referee equip score higher in competition management, passion, psychological quality, and appearance than lower experience referee. The Judo Referee Professionalism Survey has proper validity and reliability. It can further apply to the future assessment of Judo referee evaluation.
