目的：在探討桌球運動員人格特質與運動表現之間的關係。方法：以參加104年度全國大專盃桌球賽之公開組選手為研究對象，共發出問卷230份，有效問卷回收率96.95%。回收資料經Lisrel結構方程模式分析與獨立樣本t 檢定、單因子變異數分析。結果：一、人格特質量表研究結果獲得很高的內部一致性與驗證性因素分析中得到良好的整體適配評估及模式整體適配；二、研究所運動員較其它年級之運動員傾向於「外向性」，最佳運動成績桌球運動員的人格特質於「情緒穩定性」人格特質有其差異性；三、「親和性」及「情緒穩定性」可以預測桌球運動員最佳運動表現的特質。結論：希望透過此研究結果以提供未來相關研究或在桌球運動員的訓練和比賽上給予教師、教練和相關單位規劃訓練實務特質上作為參考。

Purpose: It is aimed to investigate the relationship between the personality trait and sport performance of table tennis athletes. Methods: It takes the players of open group who participated in the 2015 Annual National University/College Cup Table Tennis Competition as the study objects. Purposive Sampling is adopted to conduct the questionnaire investigation. 230 questionnaires are issued. The effective questionnaire return rate is 96.95%. The returned data are analyzed by Lisrel Structural Equations Model Analysis and Independent Sample t-Test, as well as the One-Way Analysis Of Variance. Results: (1) The study results of Personality Trait Scale obtained a very high internal consistence. And, good overall fit evaluation and mode overall fit in empirical factor analysis. (2) The institute athletes have higher tendency of extroversion than the other grades of athletes. The personality traits of table tennis athletes with best sport achievements have their differences in the personality trait of emotional stability. (3) The Compatibility and Emotion Stability can predict the traits of best sport performances of table tennis athletes. Conclusions: It wishes to provide the future relevant studies and gives the references to teachers, coaches, and relevant units for the planning of training practical characteristics on the trainings and competitions of table tennis athletes.
