本研究主要以都市居民的生活哲學為基礎，透過休閒生活理論，以社會、經濟、生態、文化等為背景，建立當前多元化時代之休閒生活應具有如創造、遊戲、美質與人性四項內涵。從這四項內涵再導入我國建築法第一條之環境指標：公共安全、公共交通、公共衛生及市容觀瞻，並配合國際衛生組織之安全、保健、便利與舒適之四項生活指標，經整合後建立本研究之居民生活環境指標：安全、健康、便利、舒適、美質及保育六項。 為達成上述六項生活環境指標，必須先建立社區開放空間對居民生活所擔負的功能；再根據這些功能轉換為評估指標，透過問卷調查法，加以調查他們對既有社區實質環境感受的滿意度；另外，以休閒理論為生活基礎，設計「家庭休閒生活態度」及「居民休閒活動傾向」兩種問卷，對居民分別施以電訪以分層隨機抽樣方法調查之，以瞭解居民的態度。 從調查結果分析當前居民家庭休閒生活與居民休閒活動傾向之問題，以及對環境設施及品質所反映出的現況問題，再彙整現況問題分析當前社區公共開放空間之課題，據以擬訂策略，並訂定開放空間設計指標，作為未來規劃設計之方向。

　　　　　This study is mainly based on the living-psychology of the urban residents, through the theory of leisure living, and backdrop on social, economic, ecology and culture, establish the leisure life of the residents to possess creation, recreation, aesthethic characteristic and humanity four connotations in multi-diversify era. From these four connotations, leads to The First Article of Architecture Law, its environment indicator: Public security, Public communication, Public hygiene and Towscape to operate in coordination with the World Health Organization's security, health, efficiency, comfortable four living indicator, after integration, establish the living environment indicator of the resident to this study: security, healthy, efficiency, comfortable, aesthethic characteristic and ecology reservation. To fulfill the above six living environment indicators, it needs first establish the function the community opened-space bears to the residents' living; and according to these function turning to assessment indictor, through questionairs, using Post Occupance Evaluation (P.O.E) method to investigate the satisfaction of the users to the original community environment; besides, using the theory of leisure as the living foundation, design two questionnaires- "Household Leisure Living Attitude' and 'Residents Leisure Activity Tendency', using the method of Telephone-interview and Stratify Random Sampling to test the residents respectively. From the result of the investigation, analyze the problem of contemporary residents' household leisure life, residents leisure activity tendency and reflects the problem of the environment's facility and quality in the present situation, furthermore, integrate these problems of present situation, analyze the subject of community opened space in contemporary, setting strategy and the design indicator of opened-space to be the direction to future programming design.
