     本研究應用網路理論探討多國籍企業網路組織類型與管理機制選用的關係。根據 MNCs 在臺子公司「與母公司企業集團」以及「與當地相關組織」的產品交易關係密度, 本 研究將子公司分成三種網路組織:一是以母公司企業集團為主要交易對象的生產基地型;二 是同時與母公司企業集團以及當地相關組織,有密切交易關係的營運中心型;三是交易重心 為當地相關組織的本土生根型。本研究發現網路組織類型與母公司採用的管理機制間有顯著 的關係。營運中心型子公司的母公司傾向於採用多元化的管理,在行政以及人員兩項管理機 制的應用程度,顯著地高於其他類型的子公司;母公司對生產基地型子公司的控制,則較偏 重於頻繁的聯繫以及標準作業程序;本土生根型子公司,總部除了採用行政管理機制外,比 其他類型公司要偏好非正式的衝突解決管道。
     Applying network theory, this paper examines the relationship between types of network organization and adoption of management mechanisms on a sample of 50 MNC's subsidiaries in Taiwan. Based on "the product transaction density" with an MNC's enterprise group and with local firms, the subsidiaries can be classified into three types of network organization, namely, self-sufficiency, productionbased, and operation-center. The research findings are: (1) for operation-center subsidiaries, the headquarters prefer to adopt multiple management mechanisms simultaneously; (2) for production-based subsidiaries, the headquarters prefer bureaucratic management mechanisms; and (3) for self-sufficiency subsidiaries, the headquarters prefer bureaucratic and cultural management mechanisms.
