     課程統整是當前教育改革的重要方向之一。本文乃以課程統整為焦點,透過文獻 分析的方式,深入探討:1、統整性課程的概念定義;2、課程統整的理論基礎(包括知識 的快速成長與社會問題的增加、對現行課程的反省、「學科」的建構性本質之體認、人腦研 究的發現,以及多元智慧理論的支持);3、課程統整的方式,以及不同統整方式的基本特 性;4、統整性課程的設計原則(包括多元調和、同儕合作、學生參與、情境的營造與配合 ),以及主題性統整課程之設計的主要程序(包括決定組織中心、發展概念網絡、決定學習 內容、建立引導性問題、設計學習活動、決定評鑑的方式)等議題,期能對教師教學及當前 的教育改革有所助益。
     Integrated curriculum is one of the important issues about educational revolution. This essay deals with the rationale and design of integrated curriculum. The main contents include (1) the definition of integrated curriculum, (2) the rationale of integrated curriculum, (3) the main ideas of Fogarty's "how to integrate the curricula"; and some traits of integrated curriculum, and (4) the principles and procedures of integrated curriculum design.
