　　　　　崩潰是助人專業者因工作需要與人緊密接觸且持續地交互作用，而導致的一種情緒枯竭、去人格化、和降低個人成就表現的心理症狀(Masisch & Jackson,1980)。在運動心理學界中，運動員的競技崩潰的過程和助人專業者十分類似，只是助人專業者所接觸對象是一般社會人眾，而運動競技崩潰(以運動員來說)所接觸的對象為競賽與訓練，特別是過度訓練和比賽要求，以及一些相關個人與社會因素所造成。本文彙整過去相關研究，探討運動員競技崩潰的形成原因、理論解釋、和預防之道。本文冀望由此項議題的探討能拋磚引玉，引起國內體育運動從業人員更多共鳴。
