目的：探討V-code關係問題病人的婚姻狀況及精神醫療資源的使用。方法：比較5年間接受婚姻治療的十對V-code關係問題與廿對精神病夫妻之相關變項。結果：V-code個案結婚及發病晚、病史短、轉介前較少使用精神科藥物及住院、社經狀態及教育高、個體功能佳，多以爭吵及合作來因應問題，較少中輟婚姻治療。結論：在台灣很難避免會要去處理V-code狀況個案，況且精神病人亦常併有關係問題，故除了必須的藥物治療之外，能對疾病因素及關係因素加以區辨，並採用適切的關係治療處遇是極重要的，故增進對關係問題的了解、診斷的敏感度和關係治療的效能是當務之急。

　　　　　Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore marital conditions and associated patterns of mental health resource utilisation in patients with relational V-code conditions.Methods: Thirty patients attending a psychiatric center couple therapy clinic during a five year period were studied, ten of which had V-code conditions, the other 20 with mental disorders serving as a control group. Selected clinical variables were examined. Results: The characteristics of patients with relational V-code conditions were a later marriage, a later onset of psychiatric complaints, a shorter history of complaints, less mental health resource utilization including psychiatric medication and hospitalization prior to their referral, higher socio-economic status, more education, higher Global Assessment of Functioning scores, coping with problems with 'quarrelling' or 'cooperation', and not dropping out from couple therapy in the study. Conclusions: Since relational V-code patients are inevitably encountered in clinical practice in Taiwan, and since the mentally ill often have V-code relational problems, it is important to recognize and distinguish factors that contribute to the clients presentation, rather than focussing solely on pharmacotherapy. To improve clinicians' understanding of relationship problems, diagnostic sensitivity, and the efficacy of relationship therapy are all very important.
