It is deemed that profound educational thoughts are inherited in the interpretation of Meng-gua in the "Book of Change". By studying the ancient documents on how it influences over physical education pedagogy nowadays, this article had three purposes. First, by interpreting the Meng-gua in the "Book of Change" in terms of the educational thoughts, we learned the ancient scholars' teaching concepts. Second, by interpreting Said" in terms of teaching thoughts, we understand Confucius' teaching methodology. Third, by combining the teaching rationale in common for the above, it was expected that both teachers and learners would be enlightened from the physical education pedagogy perspective. The methodology of "document analysis" was applied to this study. By interpreting Menggua of "Book of Change" and the educational outlook derived from "What Confucius Said", it was observed that the teaching approaches such as inspiration, teaching for all walks of life, teaching students in accordance with aptitude, peer learning, and indefatigable teaching, etc., could be applied to the modem physical education pedagogy.
