利用網際網路來進行網路學習的風氣日益興盛,且不斷的受到國外教育單位的重視與推廣,網路學習蔚為成人教育與終身學習的一大趨勢。然而目前仍然有許多尚未接觸過網路學習的在職人士,想要利用此種學習方式來進行學習,但往往因為不知道該選擇哪一門網路課程來做為第一次網路學習的嘗試而猶豫不決。因此如何針對這些潛在學習者提供適當的修課建議是一個值得探討的問題。研究發現人口變數上有差異的學習者,其最拿手的學習科目也不盡相同。因此本研究將透過多變量方法的整合與分析,以國立中山大學資訊管理系網路教學碩士學分班課程,三年來共五個學期的701位學員為研究對象,實際探討第一次參與網路的學習者人口變數與第一次網路學習科目學習成效之關聯性,進而根據此關聯性來推薦新進或潛在學習者第一次網路學習較適當的學習科目。為了進一步瞭解根據關聯性所做的推論是否可行,將對第六期共259位第一次參與網路學習的學習者依據前五期關聯性分析的結果來進行推薦,結果發現有接受推薦與沒有接受推薦的學員在學習成效上確實會有顯著差異。
Using the internet for e-learning is getting hotter. E-learning has become the main stream for adult education and lifelong learning. However, there are still many working adults who have yet not experienced e-learning. They want to adopt e-learning for study, but lack knowledge for choosing the most appropriate course for initial e-learning. Therefore, research is required to study how to provide potential learners with an appropriate online web-based learning course. According to related research, learners from different demographics do well on different courses. This paper adopts various multivariable analysis methods to analyze the relationship between adult learner's demographics and learning performance on their first online course. We studied 701 subjects who had enrolled in online courses for the first time in the past two to four years as data sources for analysis. We then applied the results to predict the appropriate learning courses for 259 learners in the past year for validation. The results show that the learning performance of the learners who took the recommended courses as their first time learning courses were significantly better than those who did not.
