在中國傳統音樂領域裡，琵琶曲《月兒高》是極具知名度的樂曲，長期以來受到琵琶演奏家們的喜愛，並運用不同的演奏技巧刻劃、描繪此曲。在演奏時運用變奏、穿插、引申、發展等演奏手法，豐富了這首源自於民間的曲牌所創發的琵琶曲，也因此衍生出眾多流派。更重要的是，琵琶曲《月兒高》發展成超越曲牌連綴的獨奏曲，實至名歸成為琵琶文曲的首座。筆者多年來鑽研琵琶演奏，深受《月兒高》音樂的感動，進而想一窺琵琶曲《月兒高》的音樂背景及其音樂內涵。對民族音樂而言，創新源自於傳統。當地區音樂有了傳統基礎後，在這根基上進行不同面相的發展與變化，進而產生出多元形式的音樂體制，在此良性循環下維持當地傳統音樂的特色，並使其音樂不斷的發展。民族音樂在保有原始核心精髓中進行創新變化，因而創作出歷久彌新的樂曲，讓傳統音樂可以源遠流長，世世代代精彩的繁衍下去。筆者認為對於琵琶曲《月兒高》之研究 ，首先應探究琵琶曲《月兒高》的前身，瞭解《月兒高》發展成琵琶曲前的原貌。

The song of ＂Moon on high＂ for Pipa is the very well-known traditional Chinese music. There are always many Pipa masters using different playing techniques to interpret this song. Playing folk tunes is to process art performances through complicated skills, including variations, interspersion, extension, and development. Gradually, many different genres were generated in ＂Moon on high＂ for Pipa, and they developed the song of ＂Moon on high＂ to be a solo piece not only a combination of some tunes. The song of ＂Moon on high＂ was turned into a extremely valuable artistic work, and honorably became the queen of a lyrical Pipa music. I have played and studied Pipa for many years, and I was deeply attracted by the song of ＂Moon on high＂. Consequently, I resolve to research this song for music background and music significance. The innovation of folk music is from its tradition self. When a regional music has its traditional foundation, the music eventually can be carried out to develop different patterns. Maintain the characteristics of the regional traditional music, and simultaneously make music continuous development. The innovation of folk music expands external appearances by keeping the core traditional characteristics; thereby, creates new timeless music. Based on the above theory, I believe the study of ＂Moon on high＂ for Pipa should first explore the original properties. I sincerely hope the folk music can be brilliant multiplication permanently.
