心理動力、認知行為、存在人文、多元文化之後的第五勢力就是社會正義諮商。社會正義諮商主張社會不公是出於對種族、宗教、語言、性別、性傾向等差異無法接受和包容,強調採用倡導和主動性策略,針對阻礙個人、家庭、社區、學術、生涯、個人或社會發展的狀況發聲,表達出社會、政治、經濟上的不公現象。諮商中的為個案倡導與為專業倡導乃社會正義諮商的重要能力。本文中說明社會正義諮商之定義、起源與發展,以及倡導的角色與能力。同時,也說明國外諮商師養成教育中如何將社會正義諮商融入課程,以及如何開發社會正義諮商師的培訓方案,期望對於國內諮商師教育方面有所助益。
