According to the Badminton World Federation, badminton became an official Olympic sport in 1992 at the Olympic Games in Barcelona. In 2012, Taiwanese badminton national champions were qualified in attending Olympic badminton includes singles games, all-female doubles games, all-male doubles games, and mixed doubles games consisting of both men and women. Therefore, the international competiveness is anticipated and encouraged. Purpose: The study was to investigate the differences of strategy performance. Methods: Among women silver medalist badminton titleholders during 2009 and 2013 East Asian Games by implementing SWOT analysis theory. Conclusions: (1) the independent Taiwanese badminton women players hold the ability in dealing with unexpectedness during the games. (2) The needs of minimize the gap between trainings and competitions improve and develop players’ strategy performance. (3) The deficiency of the training environment causes issues in developing potential prepared badminton contestants. (4) The lack of experiences among badminton national contestants requires more support and trainings for conquering challenges.
